The Evidence Ballot
A nonpartisan guide to the Massachusetts 2026 election. Find the contests on your ballot, compare candidates by issue, and see the research behind each of the nine ballot questions.
Notes
Pick your city or town, ward, and precinct, and the guide matches you to your congressional, state House, and state Senate districts using official records from the Secretary of the Commonwealth and MassGIS, rather than guessing from a town name.
From there you can compare up to four candidates side by side on the economy, housing, climate, social policy, and government accountability. For each of the nine statewide ballot questions, it lays out current law, what a yes or no vote would change, and the research that bears on it, with each study’s method and limits.
It makes no endorsements and doesn’t rank candidates. Where Kalshi prediction-market prices are available, it shows them, labeled as market quotes rather than forecasts. Any choices you mark on the practice ballot stay in your browser.
